Princess!

The girls delivered cookies to a few people today and wore their Halloween costumes. Everyone got a kick out of the two pink princesses! The other picture is of Jayden in her new fairy accessories from Aunt Amy.

Fall Festival/Other Stuff

I am addicted to festivals. I LOVE things like fall festivals where they have booths and activities. I especially love it in the Fall when things are decorated with pumpkins and scarecrows. Today at Hyde Park, they had a Fall Festival. Michael had drill so Cherie went with the kids and I to see what we could see. It was fun. They had booths with kids' games and the stores were passing out candy so you could trick-or-treat through them. Although it is a tad cooler today in FL, it is definitely not Fall weather. So, for a tiny small moment as I sampled the pumpkin streussel and yummy hot apple cider at Williams Sonoma, I imagined it was Fall! We had a good time and Cherie took a few cute pictures.

Just a few cute clips!

Can you tell Kelso was way over my conversation! I was talking to Hezzy (Michael's mom) on the phone while I walked around outside. He was first very content to look around at the trees and then I guess the heat, conversation, and movement lulled him to sleep. So stinkin' cute!!!

The next clip is of Jay in the Barr's pumpkin patch. I must say this was my first time in a "real" pumpkin patch. A patch to me is a stand on the side of the road where you pick out your pumpkin! But, Stephanie taught me that this was a "real" pumpkin patch because you actually go get your pumpkin off the vine! I was very excited about that and so was Jayden!

The last clip is from this afternoon. I took Jayden to see the new Beverly Hills Chihuahua movie and Michael and Kelso stayed home. They enjoyed playing together and Kelso was peacefully sleeping when we got home. Michael got this video of Kelso. I love the last few seconds where first, Kelso realizes the camera is there and then proceeds to make his way directly over to the camera to play with it. He loves anything electronic with buttons!

Wipes

This is what happens when you leave a little boy alone with a box of wipes. The hard part was stuffing all of them back in there!!!

Octopus

It's amazing the things you do to entertain children in the car on long road trips! Overall, the kids did good. Jayden was easier to entertain just because #1 she likes to watch movies and #2 you can actually reason with her and talk about when you will be there. Kelso was a little harder to entertain but we managed. One way Jay kept herself occupied was by drawing pictures. Michael and I were quite impressed with her smiley face and so we took a picture. She loved the fact that we made a big deal of it and decided to draw another picture. She said "look at my octopus." I was way impressed with it!

Fall Fun

I LOVE Fall! Our family was blessed to be able to experience the coolness and gorgeous views of Fall on a trip to Kentucky. We stayed with our friends Gerald and Stephanie. They have a 3 month old, Garrett, who Jayden fell in love with. She got to sit in the backseat between Garrett and Kelso when we rode around in town. She loved being "the big girl" in the car! We were able to go to Jackson's Orchard and have some yummy apple pie and apple slush! Gerald actually has his own pumpkin patch on their property and Jayden got to go pick a pumpkin! We had a good time!

New Pictures

Just some new pictures to look at! The last one is what you call a sad senorita! Aunt Amy got Jayden this dress in El Salvador. Normally, she loves to dress up but was not happy about it when I took these pictures!

He's almost walking!!!

Kelso has decided he is even closer to walking! He still needs the assistance of this walk-behind but I have a feeling pretty soon, he won't need help! Then we are in big trouble! Jay enjoyed this walk-behind too and I remember sending MJ videos of her doing this. He was in Iraq when she was doing this so he is really enjoying watching K do this!

These pictures were taken during the states' Marksmanship match. It was a lot of fun. I ranked 17 out of 28 which isn't that great. But my rifle wasn't zeroed so I have a good excuse.

Waiting for Grandaddy!

I had a meeting today so my dad came over to watch Jayden. She was anxiously awaiting his arrival. She was sitting in our window which is the front window of the house. I guess she figured if she sat there with her dolls, it would make him come faster!
Notice all 3 dolls are Cinderella Barbies-she is slightly obsessed!

What a day!

I walked into the room today and what did I see? Oh, just a sweet 2 and half year old girl in the middle of piles of shredded paper from our shredder! Don't worry, we unplug the shredder and turn it off after we use it--plus, it has a safety feature where it won't work if it is opened. Anyway, Jay decided she would take piles of this paper and run through the house and throw it in the air. When I discovered her doing this, I made her clean it up-that's why she is crying in the picture. She had paper in her hair, pants, and I am still finding pieces of it around after a thorough vacuuming!

K is cutting his first tooth so he has been quite the grouch lately. But, he is still a cutie so I thought I'd share some of his cuteness.

Lots of Orlando Pictures!!!

Such a fun place to stay! We found these ducks as we were walking around and she was very impressed!

More Orlando

Notice in the Jungle Book picture a few pictures down from here, how tiny Jayden is compared to the statues---they are HUGE!!!

Orlando

We went to Orlando for another wedding this week and had lots of fun! The wedding started at the Disney wedding pavilion and then we were bused to the Boardwalk hotel for the reception and then bused to backstage Epcot where we had a private viewing area for the fireworks along with a a desert reception---all very fun. Of course, Jay loved all of it. She especially loved the fact you could see Cinderella's castle from the pavilion AND the bride arrived in a carriage! She also enjoyed her first "bus ride"---especially since she didn't have to sit in a carseat!

We stayed at the Pop Century hotel which I have to say is fabulous if you have kids. You could honestly stay there and never go anywhere else in Orlando b/c there is so much to do there!
